How to Make a Two Hearts Lapel Pin

How to Make a Two Hearts Lapel Pin

Reveal your crafty and amorous side by making and then
wearing this heart shaped lapel ornament. It's a fun token
for Valentine's Day – you might even like to make two and
give one to your beloved.

!! Steps !!

Take two standard pipe cleaners and mold each into interlinked heart
shapes. Follow the shape as shown here.

Twist three pipe cleaners together, leaving the ends free. This will
form an arrow with feathered and barbed ends, as shown here.

Weave the arrow up and over the linked hearts.

Glue or cement the stationary side of a safety pin to the back of
the ornament. Give it a few minutes to dry.

* Pin the finished ornament on your clothes. Or pin it on your crush
for a sweet surprise!

!! Tips !!

* This is a project both kids and adults can enjoy. It's a fun way
for kids to participate in Valentine's Day crafts in the classroom
or at home.

!! Warnings !!

* Watch the sharp end of the safety pin when opening it and when
pinning it on yourself.

!! Things You'll Need !!

* 5 pipe cleaners in the color of your choice (red is good for
Valentine's Day)
