How to Collect William and Kate Memorabilia

How to Collect William and Kate Memorabilia

So Prince William has finally proposed to his
darling Kate Middleton, and not before time! If
you're an enthusiastic royal watcher and fan, now
is the time to start getting ready to collect
William and Kate memorabilia.

!! Steps !!

* Look for mugs. Mugs and cups will be made with both their faces on
them and the royal crests. These quickly become collector's pieces
and look lovely arranged on a cabinet shelf.

* Purchase thimbles. Thimbles can also be printed with photos and
royal commemorative thimbles date back over a century. Look for
ones that have colour photos of both William and Kate.

* Find commemorative plates. Plates will be common both prior to and
after the wedding. Again, they'll feature photos of the royal
couple, and royal decorations. It is likely that you'll be able to
find a range of different plate styles. Display these on the wall
or on a cabinet shelf.

* Think about t-shirts. You could either print your own at home or
purchase licensed ones from stores that stock t-shirts. The royal
couple on a t-shirt is probably not everyone's idea of a
collectible but if you're collecting, try to get at least one of
everything!

* Look for stamp issues from both the UK and abroad. Most
Commonwealth countries will issue commemorative stamps, so start
scouring the postal websites for issues and order them.

* Look in souvenir shops and department stores. These are the types
of places likely to carry a lot of royal memorabilia both in the
UK and in many Commonwealth countries. If not, look online - there
are bound to many stores and auction sites selling William and
Kate memorabilia.
